Hampton Inn Columbus/South-Fort Benning

The breakfast was typical for hotels of this caliber, barely acceptable. I think you should just stop offering those fake omelettes and turkey sausage, yuk. Take a lesson from the Europeans and do a nice Continental breakfast. The location was less than desirable. Not a restaurant in sight. We had to go to the local Piggly Wiggly, (lousy area) and settled for some of their deli fried chicken. We have used many Hampton Inns over the years during our travels and what I have observed is a steady decline in quality, with an increase in price when there should have been a decrease.

Very quiet, well maintained very comfortable bed. Air conditioner worked like a champ. Staff was just unbelievably good.

The location was amazing. Beautiful forest and lawns all around. Everything was up to standard for Hampton Inns. The breakfast was good and staff was super kind and accomodating.

The hotel is located on Fort Benning, but outside the security check point, near the Infantry Museum. The hotel is surrounded by trees and fields - lovely setting. The room was quite comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.

Really well located for visiting family inside Fort Moore. Also had the chance to visit the Infantry Museum. It’s within walking distance of the Hampton Inn and both a brilliant and informative way to learn about the US infantry.
